  Abstract

  Company A is an professional designer, manufacturer, operator, saler and is taking onleadership role on the industrial gases, electronic gases as well as special gases market allover the world.

  There are more than 1000 on-site gas shop in Company A all over the world,of that ?200units locate in Asia region. Raw material for Air separation unit is just Atmosphere, it is freecharge. However Company A have to bear operation labor,routine maintenance fee as well aselectrical/cooling water etc. utilities cost.

  Company A began to drive Remote operation model at on-site gas shop from 2010, after2 years practice, expected economic efficiency has been performed exactly, but we also haveto aware there still exist some boundary limit and must be improved by suitable approach.

  This article is based on above practical status and regard Company A on-site gas shop asan example, analysis its advantage and disadvantage of remote operation service model,research optimization approach and method,the purpose is to find some reasonable,operational approach to have on-site plant run more safe, more reliable, more performanceand the end target is to win long term higher return. Also expect Remote operation servicemodel is not only for on-site plant,but also for other Company A business.

  Abstract

  With exponentially growth of sciences and technologies such as communicationstechnology, Internet technology and computer technology etc, human society continues strongdemand for information services. Map, as an important tool for human spatial cognition, haschanged profoundly and rapidly in terms of not only production form, expression, servicemode, producing technology, and also user's reading habits and reading mode. Obviously,thetraditional concept of map has been unable to meet the social development needs today and inthe future. Traditional map industry is facing difficult and unprecedented challenges.

  Transition and upgrading become an urgent need

  This paper analyses the internal and external environment of map industry of ShanghaiSurveying and Mapping Institute (SHSMI) by using basic theory and method of strategicmanagement. Learning from relevant theories of Strategic Management at home and abroad,the paper aims to find out map industry development strength and weakness of SHSMI, andreveals underlying reasons of map industry bottlenecks on system and mechanism. And thispaper researches strategy orientation and implementation plan of map industry developmentby first proposing the strategic concept of wide-sense map and using the business layerstrategy management theory. At the moment,China's domestic research in this area is stillrelatively small. This study is hoped to provide advice and guidance to the continuingdevelopment of SHSMI map industry under the new situation.
